The Acton-Boxborough United Way is a local non-profit working to improve lives in our two towns by mobilizing the caring power of community.
- We identify and raise awareness of critical human needs in our community
- We support strong partnerships between human service agencies, volunteers, local business, and government.
- We provide funding for essential services to help our children, teens, seniors, disabled, and families.
Our Community Programs promote effective local human services, community partnerships, volunteer initiatives, and young philanthropists.
The funds we raise are allocated to agencies and organizations providing health and human services to area residents. . . . after a careful and deliberate grant process. See our Grants section for details of the 2011-12 grant allocations and examples of your donations at work.
